I'm reading a ton of sites that say make a paste of hot olive oil, cinammon , and honey and apply it to the bad spots. Can someone link me to some scientific explanation because I'm calling BS on this one...
Also if someone can teach me how to mix the paste. ie how hot the oil should be etc, that'd be awesome.Is cinnamon and honey really good for hair loss?
hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few. but anyway you can always try and get real results.
year ago I suffered from hair loss and since hair loss is hereditary my dad suffered from it too and I started trying everything you can imagine to stop my hair loss. the things that really worked for me was:
1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;
2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;
3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;
4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);
5) also you should use some herbal treatment.in that case Provillus is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!
It worked and still works for me!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry Provillus but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.provillus.com/?aid=749165
good luck!Is cinnamon and honey really good for hair loss?
I would not suggest putting hot oil on your scalp, unless a stylist is using a hot oil treatment on you.
If you are concerned about hair loss, find a salon in your area who carries Nioxin.
You can use ';Nioxin Follicle booster'; on the spots, and the Cleanser (shampoo) and Scalp Therapy (conditioner) Every day!
I have personally seen Nioxin work on tons of people! Including myself.
I don't know about the mix you're talking about but I have some other suggestions for natural hair loss treatments. Lemon juice mixed with Banyan tree root or Amalaki can be useful to prevent hair loss. Boiled and mashed lentil can be applied on the roots of your hair too. Shakakai and Ritha boiled with water then strained can serve as your daily shampoo to remedy hair loss. These natural remedies have been proven effective and are safer to use than most products in the market.
No! Bald spots are bald for a reason, you can't get them to start building up protein again (making hair) by slapping food on them! Tons of sites also said that Y2K was going to be the end of the world, the internet is full of unscientific crap. Going bald is genetic or from damage to the follicle, neither of which can be changed that way.
Is it that you are experimenting with a new idea.. in case you are let me tell you it is necessary to understand the anatomy of the hair.
external application cannot make hair grow .. all they can do is condition and vitalise your hair...
i have friends who rinse there hair with beer and get amazing results .
For more info on hair loss
go to the garbage and get some fake hair and tape, glue, super glue it to you head or wherever you want it to be.
no. If that was the case there would be no bald people. Think about it.
Yeah, if you're planning on eating your hair.
