Is there a remedy out there for hair loss?

I mean to prevent baldness in men.Do you have any suggestion?Is there a remedy out there for hair loss?
There is no magic elixir...I do use Nioxin shampoo and condition, which hasn't completely stop my hair loss, but I think it has definitely slowed it down, this is comparing myself to my dad and my brother. I am also in my 40's and still have no gray hair. I drink lots of OJ too.

anyway as we know - hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few.

year ago my husband suffered very much from dandruff and hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:

1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice (you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed (do not use Rogaine - it will not work!)

It is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and contains Biotin and the clinically tested ingredients approved by the FDA to help re-grow your hair.! I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for him!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.trichozed.info/ingredients.ph

It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!

good luck!

not only my husband`s own personal experience + working as a family physician
Few remedy that you can do it your own:

1) you massage your poor old scalp for a few minutes a day, you can stimulate blood flow to your tired hair follicles, and hopefully generate a bit of hair growth.

2) If herbs are your thing, you could mix up a concoction, using rosemary and sage to help your locks. Boil in water some rosemary, sage peach leaf nettle and burdock.

3) If you are more of an aromatherapy kind of person, you could in fact use it to keep your hair loss troubles at bay. Bay and lavender essential oils are the order of the day, add 6 drops of each to 4 ounces of almond oil.

Massage the blend into the scalp, and leave for 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, you should feel relaxed and smell pretty good too!

This isn't a quick fix, but you should feel good whilst your waiting.
Baldness can be caused by several things so the remedies that work best for you may vary but here are a few remedies that you can try.

Well if you have a few spots already I suggest apple cider vinegar. dap it on a cotton ball and swab the spots with the moistened cotton ball. The smell isn't that great but this really helped me when I lost hair from stress. The smell fades. If all else fails go see a dermatologist and ask for cortisone injections to the scalp.
There are some really good ways to avoid hair loss. Do not use too many products that strip the natural oils out of your hair. Do not abuse your hair with too much use of curling irons or blow dryers. Some is natural hereditary thinning or loss. There are some good products out there. Some of them even free trials.
Here are some really great remedies. It says they are for women but they can be applied to men also.
