Has anyone heard of Nioxin for hair loss?

My mom took DHEA and has had significant hair loss. She is being weaned off of it, but she is worried her hair will not grow back, and it may not. But I was wondering if anyone has heard of Nioxin? A friend of hers told her about it. Please tell me anything that you know about it.Has anyone heard of Nioxin for hair loss?
Hi, as i knew Nioxin focuses on creating an optimal scalp environment, allowing the body or in this case the scalp skin to do its job, which is to grow hair. It doesn't get thin over night and it takes a commitment to using the 3-part system daily to achieve the results they're looking for.Has anyone heard of Nioxin for hair loss?
Waste of money, im 21 and have been losing hair slowly since i was 17 and talked to numerous doctors. Unless it has been approved by the FDA it is a scam, even rogaine is a scam it only grows back peach fuzz and not strong hair. In your mother's case DHEA is a steroid which means her hairloss is not genetic and is only temporary, until she completely rids it from her system the hair with not grow back. Talk to a doctor also.
Yea I have it is basicly a hair thicking product.

If you are looking for a product to restore hair their are only two chemicals approved by the the American hair Loss Association and the FDA they are Minoxidil and Finasteride.

. Both these drugs ironically were discovered and manufactured to treat other diseases. However, both these drugs cases the side effects of people to grow their hair back. Now they are mfg are hair loss products. In my resource box I have a link maybe this willl help. Best Wishes and Happy Coming Holidays
