How is fenugreek effective for controlling hair loss?

No, where on earth did you hear that? It is a carminative/galactagogue, meaning for digestion and breast feeding. This is known in a lot of literature.

Your better bet would be silica or biotin, but hair loss can be a symptom of something more inherent... for example adrenal insufficiency or hypothyroid. I would have these organs checked by a functional medicine doctor, who uses functional medicine lab tests - such as the ASI test and a full thyroid panel not just TSH. Other issues may also contribute to the problem, so I would see a specialist about it.How is fenugreek effective for controlling hair loss?
That's a new one on me. If anything I would of thought it would have negative effects. Fenugreek is often used by men looking to increase testosterone production and testosterone is not great for hair growth!

All the best
